Official Mission Statement
Our mission is to keep Florida the best state in America by trusting people more than government. We will shrink overreach, stop wasting your tax dollars, defend your rights, and get Tallahassee out of the way, so you can keep what you earn, raise your kids as you see fit, and live free.
Floridians are working harder than ever. Government keeps making life more expensive and more complicated. We’re running as Libertarians because we trust you. Keep more of what you earn. Raise your kids your way. Live without a stack of new rules from Tallahassee or Washington. If you want leaders who get out of the way instead of standing in it, stand with us.
These are not talking points. They are the line we will not cross.
They match what the Libertarian Party of Florida stands for, said the way this campaign talks, people first, in plain words.
- You own your life. You are free to live it your way, as long as you don’t hurt anyone else.
- Government should stay small. It should only do the things people truly cannot do for themselves.
- Hardworking Floridians should keep more of what they earn. Government should live on a budget, take only what is truly needed, and stop treating taxpayers like an open wallet.
- Your home, your property, and the results of your work belong to you, not to politicians.
- Parental choice. Parents, not bureaucrats, decide what’s best for their kids.
- People should speak, worship, associate, and defend themselves without asking permission.
- Second amendment. Law abiding parents and homeowners have the right to protect their families.
- Your private life is not the government’s business. Free people should not be tracked for driving down the road.
- Let people and businesses compete fairly. Government should not pick winners and losers.
- No one is above the law, not an individual, not a corporation, and not government. End the waste, the fraud, and the special deals.
If you already live this way, work hard, take care of your family, and want to be left alone, you are not extreme. You are the Florida we are running to serve.
What We Are Here to Do
A mission is a promise you can measure. Here is ours.
- Stop the squeeze on families. Cut the rules and costs that hit parents, gig workers, tradespeople, nurses, teachers, and small shops first.
- Fix the insurance affordability crisis. Homeowners should not pay some of the highest premiums in the country for coverage that fails them when a storm hits.
- Stop taxing people out of their homes. If you own your homestead, you should not keep paying the government for the privilege of living in it.
- Put parents in the driver’s seat. Education money should follow the child. Parents know their kids better than Tallahassee does.
- Secure the border and open a lawful path to work. Welcome peaceful people who come to build a life. Focus enforcement on criminals, traffickers, and real threats.
- Protect your rights and your privacy. Defend the Constitution, the Second Amendment, and the Fourth. Your drive home is not a government file.
- Make government live on a budget. Families do it. Small businesses do it. Tallahassee should have to do it too.
